High Tide Land Surveying, LLC officially opened for business in January of 2013 and since then we have striven to be cost effective, timely and accurate in every project we undertake.  We have a great mix of technology, history and know-how to in order to get things done right, the first time.  We employ the newest technology available, both in the field and in the office, and we also have in house more than 70 years of historical maps and surveys to work from.  This mix of new and old allows us to start any project in Galveston with a head start, which translates into faster results from HTS.

The staff at has extensive experience in many different types of surveying, from Title Surveys and Elevation Certificates for single family homes, to topographic surveys for large acreage tracts, ALTA/NSPS surveys for commercial property, and even Coastal Boundary Surveys for filing with the Texas General Land Office.  Chances are that whatever it is you are needing from a surveyor, that HTS has already done that kind of work before.

Stephen BlaskeyStephen received his Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in 2004, and has since became licensed as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas (License Number 5856), a Licensed State Land Surveyor in Texas, a Professional Land Surveyor in Louisiana (License Number 5107), and  Geographic Information Systems Professional.  Stephen also serves as a member of the Academic Advisory Committee for the Surveying and Geographic Information Science program at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi where he is charged with the task of aiding in the development of the curriculum to educate the Geospatial Professionals of tomorrow.

 

Stephen has just short of a decade of surveying experience in Galveston County, and most of that being on Galveston Island.  And this experience spans many different types of surveying, including: topographic surveying, boundary surveying, hydrographic surveying, low altitude aerial scanning, 3D laser scanning, engineering and environmental support surveying, and construction surveying.
